Hello, here are some info for SHF CIP tmr. there're some changes also.

Date: 26 Sep 09 (sat)
Time: meet at Yio Chu Kang mrt at 8.05am. It ends around 3 to 4 pm.
Venue:Blk 645 AMK Ave 4
Attire: School based shirt and jeans/Bermudas (no skirt or short shorts), splippers or sandals
If your parents are fetching you there then you can reach at 8.30 at the void deck.

You'll be grouped into groups of 4 tmr with one leader.
Okay below is for the benefit of those who didn't turn up for the briefing yesterday.

What you will be doing:
Free Health screening for the residents living one/two/ rented apartments in AMK.
-only for Singaporeans or PR
-18 years and above
-if immobile/bedridden don't screen
-measurements in cm
-take all measurements twice

1)measuring blood pressure:
-normal blood pressure : 120/80
-range between 80 to 120 is good
-blood pressure between 120 and 140 is borderline (tell the elderly to take precaution)
-over 140 -> high blood
-you will see 2 readings on the machine so take the higher reading
-put the plastic covering on the elderly's left arm and first before putting on the strap
-make sure the person is sitting on a chair and her/his arm is rest on a table

2)measuring waist circumference:
-use the measuring tape. make sure its at the belly button, girl measure girl, guy measure guy, no brainer
optimum measurement:
males:90cm
females:80cm

3)measuring height:
-another measuring tape
-one person hold bottom, another person hold top and take reading

4)the elderly will also have to a survey after the health screening:
-if the qns are too personal, don't ask
-if they have high blood, put a star beside the qns that asks whether they have high blood or not
-if they tell you they have financial need, ask them to fill in the CCN form (blue form)
